Your details, handled with care.

Who we are

Island Yacht Charter SXM arranges private boat charters in St. Martin / Sint Maarten. For anything about your data, email info@islandyachtcaresxm.com.

What you share with us

When you send a charter request or a message, the details you type (your name, email, phone number, where you are staying, the date, guests and your plans) are sent to us by email from your own email app.

If a hotel or villa concierge books for you, they share the same details with us on your behalf.

How we use it

Only to answer you and arrange your charter: checking availability, confirming the day and the price, and sharing what is needed with the captain and boat operator. For concierge bookings, the booking is also visible to that concierge.

We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

Stored in your browser

The charter planner remembers the day you are building in your own browser, so it is still there if you come back. It stays on your device and is not sent to us until you send a request. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookies

The public site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Partner portals (for our hotel, concierge and boat-owner partners) use one essential cookie to keep you signed in.

Other services

Some destination photos are loaded from Wikimedia Commons, whose servers receive a normal web request (including your IP address) when the photo is shown. The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request logs to serve pages.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, at any time by emailing info@islandyachtcaresxm.com. We keep charter details only as long as needed to run the charter and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
