Booking
How do I book a charter?
Plan your day in the charter planner or send us a message with your date, number of guests and anything you would like to see. The charter team confirms availability, timing and the price, usually within a few hours. Nothing is charged when you send a request.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can in high season (December to April), especially for weekends and St. Barth days. Outside those months, a few days is often enough. Last-minute requests are always worth sending; we will tell you honestly what is possible.
How do payment and cancellations work?
Payment terms and the cancellation policy are set out with your booking confirmation, before you commit to anything.
Can my hotel concierge book for me?
Yes. Partner hotels and villas book directly through their concierge portal, and your booking details are shared with the charter team automatically.
On board
What is included?
Every charter includes a professional captain, fuel, snorkelling gear, light snacks, fresh towels and drinks: water, soft drinks, juices, beer, spirits, rosé and champagne. The VanDutch 55 also has a steward aboard; the Marlin 35 carries a floating mat and a paddleboard.
What can I add?
Extras such as a Seabob, a drone photo package or a charcuterie plate can be added on request. Lunch at a beach restaurant can be reserved for you.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a hat, sunglasses and reef-safe sunscreen. Bring passports if your day includes Anguilla or St. Barth. Towels and snorkelling gear are aboard.
Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes, every boat in the fleet has a toilet aboard.
The day itself
Where do we board?
From one of our departure points around the island, including Bobby’s Marina in Philipsburg, Simpson Bay, Porto Cupecoy and Fort Louis in Marigot. Which ones are possible depends on the boat; see Departures for details.
Do I need a passport?
Only if you visit Anguilla or St. Barth. The boat clears customs on arrival, and any customs or entry fees are confirmed with your quote. Days around St. Martin, Tintamarre and Pinel need no passport.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your captain has the final say on safety. If conditions are not right for the planned route, we will suggest a sheltered alternative or move the charter to another day.
Can we change the plan on the day?
Within reason, yes. The route is a plan, not a script: stay longer where you are happy, skip what you are not in the mood for. Your captain will tell you what the time and sea allow.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. Calm-water stops like Pinel, Mullet Bay and Tintamarre are ideal for families. Let us know the children’s ages when you book so the crew can prepare.
